A HISTORY OF WDS

~We have been around the block... a few times!~

We started in 2002 as Western Design Studio, and now we Build!

2002: Mike quits job as Arch Employee to start Western Design Studio, Inc.

2004: Obtained Architectural Registration allowing Commercial practice.

2010: Simplified name with acronym WDS. Brands as "Architecture".

2014: Grows to 10 person firm and permits 5 ground-up projects.

2015: Finds niche of helping Business Owners to open their locations.

2018: Downsizes. Focuses on training & systems. Mentors 5 staff to NCARB Candidates.

2020: Pursued General Contractor's License, Completes first 3 Builds.

2021: Shifted the focus to a Design-Build service model.

2022: Starts YouTube Channel bringing first Client who was a Subscriber.

2023: Grows Design-Build Organization to 5 members on each side.

2024: Experiences catastrophic event. Finds himself solo & wants to quit.

2025: Gives project leads away. Then has life changing awakening & transformation.

2026: Called to assist with larger endeavors, he rebuilds Trade Partner team & Staff.
